Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of RingLeader, a missed call text-back service operated by RingLeader ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using RingLeader, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

RingLeader enables trade businesses — including plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, contractors, and similar service professionals — to automatically send SMS text messages to callers when they are unable to answer an incoming call. The service provides a two-way messaging inbox so businesses can continue conversations with leads and customers between jobs.

SMS Messaging Terms

By using RingLeader, businesses agree to send SMS messages only in connection with their legitimate business communications. The following terms apply to all SMS activity through the platform:

How customers opt in: Customers opt in to receive SMS messages by calling a business phone number operated through RingLeader. This call may originate from the business website, Google Business Profile, referral, or other public listing. If the call is missed, RingLeader sends a one-time SMS response related to the customer's inquiry. This consent is disclosed publicly at myringleader.com, with links to our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on inbound call volume. Customers typically receive one SMS per missed call.

Messages are sent only in response to inbound calls initiated by the customer to the business
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan
To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent
To request help or information, reply HELP to any message
Opting out of SMS does not affect any other communication channels

Business User Responsibilities

Businesses using RingLeader are responsible for:

Ensuring their use of the service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA guidelines
Providing accurate auto-text message content that represents their business honestly
Not using RingLeader to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or content that is misleading, deceptive, or harmful
Honoring all opt-out requests from message recipients promptly
Not using the service for any unlawful purpose

Permitted Use

RingLeader is intended solely for legitimate business communication between trade businesses and their existing or prospective customers. The service may not be used to:

Send messages to individuals who have not initiated contact with the business
Conduct mass marketing campaigns unrelated to a specific missed call
Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
Violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RingLeader — including but not limited to the software, design, text, and graphics — are owned by RingLeader and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

Disclaimers

RingLeader is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all messages will be delivered successfully, as delivery depends on factors outside our control including mobile carrier networks.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RingLeader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify account holders of material changes by email or through the service. Continued use of RingLeader after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which RingLeader operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
